Our pilot partner school, St. Theresa's Public School

The learners in the St. Theresa’s Public School  (primary four) were introduced to our approach to critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Even though it was something new to them, they were very receptive and responsive to our Curriculum. Our critical thinking and problem-solving approach helped the kids to unravel some science questions and other problems in their classroom environment.

Our Unique Research-backed Approach

Implement Unique Pepadogies: Inquiry-Based Learning

Smart Kids Ghana promotes inquiry-based learning by encouraging students to ask questions, investigate, and explore various topics. Students take an active role in their learning, seeking out information and conducting research to find answers to their questions. Teachers serve as facilitators, guiding students through the inquiry process and providing support as needed. This approach helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills.

Montessori Method

In alignment with the Montessori method, Smart Kids Ghana creates a prepared environment that supports self-directed learning. Classrooms are designed to be interactive and accessible, allowing students to choose activities that interest them and learn at their own pace. The organization fosters mixed-age classrooms, enabling peer learning and mentoring. Students have the autonomy to explore different subjects through hands-on activities and collaborative play, promoting intrinsic motivation and a love for learning.

By combining these two pedagogies, Smart Kids Ghana offers a holistic and student-centered educational experience that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a passion for discovery.
