At SmartKids Ghana, our ambassadors come from diverse backgrounds but share one mission helping scholars in Ghana unlock their full potential through education. Today, we’re excited to introduce Madisen Baker, a 12th grader at Bishop Fenwick High School, who is passionate about teaching and making a difference.

Madisen brings valuable teaching experience to the program across different age groups and subjects. She has taught preschool, led ballet classes, and worked with the College Board as an SAT Math Tutor, where she created presentations of strategies, guided students through practice problems, and administered full-length practice tests. Beyond that, she also serves as an individual tutor for science and math at her school, helping peers strengthen their academic skills.

What makes Madisen stand out is not only her versatility in teaching but also her genuine love for working with kids. She shares:

“I really enjoy working with kids, and I love to make an impact in a variety of ways. I’m looking to have a positive impact on these kids as well as gain teaching skills that will be useful to me in the future.”

By joining SmartKids Ghana’s Zoom Program, Madisen hopes to combine her academic expertise with her passion for mentorship. For her, this is more than just teaching, it’s an opportunity to empower Ghanaian children with knowledge and inspire them to dream bigger.
