Spotlight: Natalie Bono – Newest Zoom Teacher

We are delighted to introduce Natalie Bono, a senior at Bishop Fenwick High School, as one of the newest Zoom teachers joining SmartKids Ghana.

Though Natalie has not previously volunteered as a teacher or tutor, her passion for education and service shines brightly. She is driven by the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, no matter their background or circumstances.

When asked why she wanted to become a Zoom teacher with SmartKids Ghana, Natalie shared:

“I think it’s important that everybody has the opportunity to learn, and I want to do anything I can to help that. I want to go to college for early education, and I think this will be a great first step in teaching.”

Natalie’s enthusiasm and her career aspirations in early education make her a wonderful addition to the SmartKids Ghana teaching team. By stepping into this role, she not only supports our scholars in gaining access to valuable educational opportunities but also begins her own journey in building skills and experience as a future educator.

In addition to teaching, Natalie will also be fundraising $250 to support the Zoom teaching program, ensuring that more students in Ghana can benefit from quality learning opportunities and essential resources.

We are thrilled to have Natalie join our mission and look forward to seeing the inspiration and encouragement she brings to our scholars.
