Meet Felix Langlois — Sharing Knowledge, Inspiring Change

At just 15 years old, Felix Langlois, a 10th-grade student at Bishop Fenwick High School, is already demonstrating the true meaning of leadership through service. Guided by compassion, humility, and a deep belief in the power of education, Felix has joined SmartKids Ghana as a Zoom Teacher, ready to use his skills and knowledge to make learning more accessible to students across Ghana.

Felix’s journey as an educator began in his local community, where he volunteered after school to help elementary-level students strengthen their foundational math skills. Whether explaining beginner multiplication or breaking down simple division, Felix approached every lesson with patience and care. Those early experiences gave him a deep appreciation for teaching and for the confidence that learning brings to young minds.

When the COVID-19 pandemic shifted classrooms to the digital space, Felix quickly adapted to the new learning environment. He presented multiple school projects over Zoom, developing excellent communication and presentation skills along the way. This experience gave him not only technical confidence but also the ability to engage an audience, solve problems in real time, and stay connected even through screen skills that now serve him powerfully in his virtual teaching journey with SmartKids Ghana.

Felix’s motivation to teach stems from gratitude and purpose. “I believe everyone should have the right to education,” he shares. “I’ve been blessed with a world-class education, and I believe it’s my duty to share that with as many people as I can. I can’t wait to teach these kids and share the knowledge I’ve been gifted with the rest of the world.”

At SmartKids Ghana, Felix has already shown great promise as a young educator and global citizen. His dedication to sharing knowledge reflects the organization’s core belief that education is the bridge to opportunity. Every hour he spends teaching contributes not just to academic growth but to the confidence and empowerment of students who might otherwise be left behind.

Felix embodies what SmartKids Ghana stands for young leaders using their education as a tool for change. His story is a reminder that when we choose to give back, we multiply the impact of what we’ve learned. Felix joins a growing network of SmartKids Ghana student ambassadors and teachers around the world who are using knowledge, compassion, and innovation to change lives through education.
