At just 15 years old, Siarah, a 10th grader from North Gwinnett High School, is already making a meaningful impact through her passion for teaching and community service. With a natural gift for communication and a heart for helping others, Siarah has turned her love for learning into a mission to inspire confidence and curiosity in younger students.
Her journey as a volunteer teacher began at her local mosque, where she worked alongside her mother to organize lessons and teach younger students. Through this experience, she learned how to make complex topics simple and engaging, and discovered the joy of watching students grow in understanding.
When the world shifted online during COVID-19, Siarah didn’t stop there. She helped lead virtual sessions on Zoom, keeping students connected and motivated during challenging times. This experience taught her valuable lessons about clear communication, patience, problem-solving, and adaptability qualities that continue to shape her as an educator.
Now, as a Zoom teacher with SmartKids Ghana, Siarah is eager to bring her skills, creativity, and kindness to students across the world. She believes that education has the power to change lives and that even helping one child can make a lasting difference.
“I want to help students reach their full potential and believe in themselves,” she says. “Teaching online gives me a chance to share knowledge in a fun and meaningful way while connecting with kids from different places.”
With her compassion and dedication, Siarah is not only sharing lessons she’s spreading hope, confidence, and the belief that learning can open doors to a brighter future. Welcome Siarah !
