Spotlight: Zeina Aboalolla – Newest Zoom Teacher

We are thrilled to welcome Zeina Aboalolla, an 11th-grade student at Acton Boxborough Regional High School, to our team of Zoom teachers at SmartKids Ghana.

While Zeina has not previously volunteered as a teacher or tutor, she brings valuable experience in presenting over Zoom through her involvement in school and club meetings. This background has helped her develop strong communication and presentation skills that will serve her well as she steps into a teaching role with our scholars.

When asked why she wanted to join SmartKids Ghana as a Zoom teacher, Zeina shared.

“I want to be a Zoom teacher with SmartKids Ghana because the goal of this program is truly inspiring. Education is one of the most valuable tools in making change and I want to be part of something that contributes to that. Being a Zoom teacher will give me the opportunity to support a meaningful cause and at the same time help me grow with new experiences and learning. I’m excited to connect with new people and gain a deeper understanding of the world around me.”

Zeina’s perspective reflects her deep appreciation for education as a powerful tool for transformation. By joining SmartKids Ghana, she not only contributes to bridging educational gaps but also embraces the opportunity to learn and grow herself through service and cultural exchange.

In addition to teaching, Zeina will also be fundraising $250 to support the Zoom teaching program, helping to provide the resources needed to keep this meaningful initiative running strong.

We are excited to have Zeina on board and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make as part of our teaching team.
