At just a young age, Malak Elmeligy already understands the power that education holds in shaping lives and creating opportunities. A 9th-grade student at Algonquin Regional High School, Malak is driven by a genuine passion for helping others learn, grow, and discover their potential.

Whether assisting friends and family with school subjects or spending time teaching younger children, Malak has always found joy in helping others understand new concepts. Through these experiences, she discovered not only her love for teaching, but also the fulfillment that comes from seeing someone gain confidence in themselves through learning.

What inspired Malak to become a Zoom Teacher with SmartKids Ghana is her desire to be part of something bigger than herself. She believes education has the power to transform futures and open doors to endless possibilities. To her, every lesson taught is an investment in a child’s dreams and future success.

Malak understands that the students she teaches today could become the doctors, engineers, leaders, and changemakers of tomorrow. That belief motivates her deeply. She wants to contribute to a future where children are empowered with the knowledge and confidence needed to pursue opportunities that can not only change their own lives, but also positively impact the world around them.

What makes Malak’s passion especially meaningful is the heart behind it. She does not view teaching simply as an activity, but as an opportunity to encourage, inspire, and uplift young learners.
